Please be advised any inaccurate information provided to CERF may result in CERF removing your CERF registration from it's web site and your CERF registration number and your CHIC number may be invalidated. 

A fee of $5.00 will be charged to make changes or corrections due to submission errors. Please print all information clearly on CERF examination forms.

If you request supression of your CERF registraton (No Release) all CERF registrations will be surpressed including any previous CERF registrations.  A fee of $5.00 will be charged to make any changes to release status.

Paying Registration Fees

Registration Fees are to be paid in US dollars. Sorry, but foreign currency/checks are not accepted. CERF accepts MasterCard and VISA.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

CERF Policy about Permanent ID

Starting from January 1, 2001, CERF adopted a policy that a permanent identification in the form of DNA profile, microchip or tattoo will be needed for any dog to be registered. Dogs not permanently identified will continue to be registered, however, they will be issued a CERF number with the suffix "N" indicating that the dog has no permanent identification. For example:

• With permanent identification LR-54321
• Without permanent identification LR-54321N

Please notify CERF when your dog receives a permanent ID and we will update our records and re-issue your certificate.
